Rockbridge Awarded 2017 Frontiers in Service Conference Best Practitioner Award

We are proud to announce that Rockbridge’s Founder and Chief Methodologist, Charles Colby, received the 2017 Frontiers in Service Conference Best Practitioner Paper Award and Chief Strategy and Client Officer, Tim Keiningham was named a finalist for the award.

The Frontiers in Service Conference is considered by many to be the world’s leading annual conference on service research. The Best Practitioner Paper Award, highlights the work of business practitioners, demonstrating how research is applied to real-world practical situations or problems. Winning papers are selected for being innovative and engaging while maintaining a practical and managerial approach.  All the papers submitted this year were excellent, and we would like to congratulate IBM, SAP, GoMoment.com, and Silvertree Internet Holdings for being named finalists.

Charles’ award winning paper, The Role of Digitally Rich Experiences in Satisfying Service Customers, explores how services are now poised for another revolution as technology advances and consumer demands spur the next wave of transformation based on “digitally rich experiences” (i.e., deployment and integration of advanced digital technologies to deliver yet-to-be-seen experiences with a high level of interaction, sensory stimulation and functionality).  Click here to view the full presentation.

Rockbridge’s Tim Keiningham also had a successful Frontiers in Service Conference, as his paper, Building Service Businesses in the Developing World, was named a Best Practitioner Paper Award Finalist.
